Here is a commission that I did this past fall of two greyhounds. It was a gift from husband to wife and she loves birch trees. I'm pretty proud of this one because I feel like I accomplished a lot of detail. My paintings are getting more and more detailed the more I paint. And this is a good thing and a bad thing... The bad thing is that it takes me more time to finish a painting now! I find it hard to go back into time and paint more naively...
This was done with acrylic paint on 16x20 stretched canvas.

Here is a 24"x24" painting of a basket of Himalayan kittens. Their schmooshed faces are so cute. I personally don't have any cats, because my dogs would eat them! This one is hanging in my office, but is for sale if interested. You can find it by clicking here.

This is "Goliath in Red Chair." I painted this in 2008. Goliath is one of my friend's dogs-- a pit bull terrier. He's a HUGE dog now, but this just depicts his innocence. Pit bull terriers are great dogs if they get the right start in life with the right training.

This painting was done of 20"x24" canvas and the edge on this image was added in photoshop or something. I sold the original painting to Fulton County Animal Shelter and it's hanging in one of the lobby of one of the largest animal shelters here in the Atlanta area. I thought of showing this one today because I just sold a print of it today. You can order prints of my paintings here:

This past summer I ran a special on this size-- 11x14 and had several takers. This is Fleck and his mommy was so excited with his portrait that she made me a sign and sent this to me!! Isn't that cool? Fleck is half basset hound and half something else...

This is Dandee, a bulldog that I painted with permission from Carver Bulldogs. I love the schmooshed faces of bulldogs, boxers and pugs. This painting was actually sent to a store in NC for consignment and then the owner never opened the shop. I've been trying to get it back from her for over a year now!! Unbelievably, I just got a message this morning that says that it was shipped back via Fedex and I should have to tomorrow. I will believe it when I see it! It's 18x24 on stretched canvas. It will be available for sale if it shows up!

Today I'm finishing a greyhound painting. I'll post it in a few days!! Thanks for looking!

Here's another new pop art painting that I did in 2008. I didn't paint much in 2009, but I'm back to it this year. I just sold this one finally yesterday!!
This is Gertie, a friend of mine from Myspace. This was painted on 16"x20" stretched canvas with acrylic paint.

I busy making cards this morning for a local pet boutique. I need to get my cards out to more boutiques-- they are really popular at this one near my house!

Hi! I'm back to my blog again. It's been 3 years since I've posted anything here!! Well, I've been through some challenges with my health that has affected my creativity. But now I'm all fixed up and back to painting!! I'll start posting some paintings that I've created over the past several years.

"Bulldog Family" is a painting that I created for myself. It's actually hanging in a boutique pet store in Marietta, GA called "Dog City Bakery." It's for sale for $500. It's 36" x 24" on 2 1/2" wide stretched canvas. It's one of my favorite paintings to date just because of the flowers and the green and of course, the bulldogs. I love their wrinkly faces!
