Four Big Dogs!
Here is a 30"x30" painting that I'm doing for a client in Virginia. It's about done -- I just need to find out if he wants me to tweak anything. The pictures weren't the greatest to work from, in fact the chocolate lab photo was the hardest to see. Anyway, are they cute?? What a nice family!
Well I have an Italian Greyhound to finish this weekend and then I'm done with commissions until after Christmas. So I'll be taking a break again next week! Have to get some shopping done... Thanks for looking!

White Georgia Bulldog with UGA Arch
Here is a HUGE commission that I just finished. It's a 36"x36" oil painting and it took me nearly 3 weeks (on and off between dry times) to complete! It's throwing a glare, so some of the detail isn't evident from this photo. I can't wait to hear how the client likes it.
Now I'm off to finish another large painting -- a 30x30 painting of a family of dogs -- 3 labs and a another bulldog! Tooodles for now...

German Sheperd Out West
Well it's slow going for me... Still trying to get over this flu and I'm SO TIRED! The coughing is keeping me up at night and so it's a real drag! I have so much to do this week with paintings!
Here is a german shepherd dog with an ocean-meets-desert landscape. I love the winding road. I think I'll do more with winding roads. He's on 16x20 stretched canvas. He's $150 if you are interested! Just contact me!

Thursday's Painting: "Waiting for Love-- Boston Terrier"
This sweet little puppy is waiting for someone to adopt him. He happens to be sitting in an artsy sort of garden with flowers and a funky-colored stone wall. This is one I just felt like doing -- and it was so much fun. I love the way this turned out and it will be displayed proudly in my hallway until the right owner comes along.
If you are interested in this painting (16"x20"), it can be purchased by clicking here.

Monday's Painting: "Woofer Weimheimer, Weimaraner Dog in Flowers"
I couldn't wait to post this painting. I love the way this one turned out! This is a weimaraner puppy in a field of purple and lavender flowers. This is the second in my "Dogs in Flowers" series. I'm going to paint a black lab in flowers next. I have so many things I want to paint!! Where will I get the time!!??
Woofer was painted in acrylics on gallery-wrapped, pre-stretched canvas. It's 18x18 and the sides have been painted so a frame is not necessary. If you are interested in this painting, you can buy it by clicking here. Thanks for looking!

Wednesday's Painting: "Zoe, Boston Terrier"
Well I was down and out with a migraine yesterday, so no painting for me! I hate that I get them and they just slam me out of commission! Speaking of commissions, the painting above is a commission of a little dog from Arkansas, named Zoe. She's a sick little puppy, but the adoring mommy is hoping and praying that she will make it until the end of the year.
Right now I'm working on 4 commissions and then one of my own -- a weimaraner in a field of flowers. Hopefully I'll have one of them finished tomorrow so that I can post it. Thanks for looking!

Saturday's Painting: "Pugs with Purple!"
I love pugs and this is a commission that I finished yesterday. It's 16x20 and I used a very purple background, which didn't show up so well when I took the picture... Aren't they cute?? I do hope the client likes it!
I was at the Atlanta Animal Alliance Dog/Walk Run today. It was cold and windy, but it was a good time. I had a vendor booth and showed this painting and several others. Lots on interest in pet portraits and I took a lot of pictures of dogs!

Friday's Painting: "Lucky, My Black Lab Girl"
Well today was a dud of a day for me. I woke up with a crappy migraine and had to take my meds and go back to bed. Didn't get back up until after 10 and then just dazed about the house until noon. So I decided not to start the work-in-progress posts until next week.
Here is a painting of my tubby dog, Lucky, set against a bright orange background. I think I'll put this one on eBay, but it won't go up for auction until Saturday. So I'll link to it then! Thanks for looking! Oh, it's on 12"x12" pre-stretched canvas, side painted black.
